These terms apply to everything you buy from Gohri Jewellers through this website. Please read them before you order — placing an order means you accept them.

How our prices work
Gold and silver are priced at the bullion rate of the day, so the price of a piece moves as the metal rate moves. A price shown on this site is the price at the moment that page was generated.
The price of a piece is made up of the metal value (rate of the day multiplied by weight, including any wastage), the making charge, the value of any stones, hallmarking, and GST at 3%. Making charges are stated separately on your invoice and are never folded into the metal rate.
The price is fixed when we confirm your order, not when you add a piece to your basket. If the rate has moved materially in between, we will tell you before we proceed, and you may cancel without charge.
Weights
Weights are as measured on our own calibrated scales. Net weight is the metal alone; gross weight includes stones and findings. Handmade pieces vary slightly, and the weight recorded on your invoice is the weight of the piece you actually receive.
Hallmarking
Gold jewellery is hallmarked by a BIS-recognised centre and carries a six-character HUID, printed on your invoice and shown on the product page. You can check it yourself in the BIS Care app — you do not have to take our word for it. See Hallmarking & Purity.
Placing an order
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm it. We may decline an order — for example if the piece has already sold at our counter, if a price or weight was listed in error, or if we cannot verify the delivery details. If we decline after you have paid, we refund in full.
Every piece is one of a kind and stock is shared with our shop, so occasionally a piece sells in person moments before an online order reaches us.
Payment
Payment is taken through Razorpay. Card, UPI and net banking details are entered on Razorpay’s own secure page — they never reach this website, and we never see or store them.
Delivery
Shipping across India is free, insured and tracked. Delivery times and how parcels travel are set out in our Shipping policy.
Returns, exchange and buy-back
Set out in full in Returns, Exchange & Buy-back. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Made-to-order and altered pieces
Pieces made to your specification, engraved, or resized are prepared for you alone. We will tell you the expected date when you order, and again when the piece is ready. Because they cannot be resold as they are, made-to-order and engraved pieces sit outside the standard return window, except where the piece is faulty or not as described.
Photographs
We photograph every piece ourselves. Photographs are corrected for lighting and colour only. Stones and finishes may look slightly different on your screen.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the day you placed it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts at Sonipat, Haryana.
