Most gold in India is bought in part exchange, and it is welcome here. Bring your old pieces in, and you pay only the difference.
How we work out what your gold is worth
- We weigh it in front of you.
- Stones and beads are weighed out. You are paid for the gold, not for what is set into it.
- We test the purity at the counter. What a piece is stamped as, and what it assays at, are not always the same.
- Net weight × our buying rate for that purity. That is the figure, and that is what comes off your bill.
Today’s buying rates
Gold moves every day, so we quote the buying rate when you come in. Ask us on WhatsApp for today's figure.
What it leaves you to pay
Every piece on this website shows it. Open anything in the shop, put your weight and karat into the panel under the price, and it will tell you what would be left to pay on that piece today. It uses the same buying rates as the counter.
Making charges and GST on the new piece are payable either way — the exchange reduces what you owe, it does not remove the making.
The terms, plainly
- Exchange or cash. Most people put their old gold against something they are buying, and the value comes straight off the price. If you would rather sell it outright, we will do that too — just say so at the counter.
- Nothing is deducted for melting or refining. You get the full value of the gold at our buying rate for its purity — the figure on this page is the figure, not a starting point.
- Any gold. It does not matter who sold it to you, whether it is hallmarked, or what condition it is in. We test it here.
- No minimum weight. Bring one ring or bring everything in the drawer.
Before you come in
You are welcome to send a photograph on WhatsApp and we will give you a rough idea first. A firm figure needs the piece on the scale, because weight, stones and purity all have to be measured rather than guessed.
