Frequently Asked Questions.
01. Pricing and purity
How is the price of a piece worked out?
The metal at the Sonipat bullion rate of the day, multiplied by the weight including any wastage, plus the making charge, the value of any stones, hallmarking, and GST at 3%. The making charge is shown separately on your invoice and is never folded into the metal rate.
The price has changed since I last looked. Why?
Gold and silver are priced at the bullion rate of the day, so listed prices move with the market. Your price is fixed when we confirm the order, not when you add a piece to the basket. If the rate has moved materially in between, we will tell you before proceeding and you may cancel without charge.
How do I know the gold really is the purity you state?
Every gold piece is hallmarked by a BIS-recognised centre and carries a six-character HUID, printed on your invoice and shown on the product page. Enter it in the BIS Care app and the Bureau of Indian Standards will confirm the purity and the registered jeweller. You do not have to take our word for it.
02. Ordering and payment
How can I pay?
Through Razorpay — UPI, card, net banking or EMI. Those details are entered on Razorpay’s own secure page. They never reach this website, and we never see or store them.
Will I get a GST invoice?
Yes, automatically, for every order. It shows the weight, the rate applied, the making charge, GST and the HUID of the piece. If it needs to be billed to a business, enter your GSTIN when you order.
Do I need an account to order?
No — you can check out as a guest. An account simply lets you see past orders and track a current one.
03. Delivery
What does delivery cost, and how long does it take?
Shipping is free on every order, anywhere in India. Orders placed before 4pm on a working day are dispatched the same day. Sonipat and Delhi NCR usually take 1–2 working days, the rest of India 3–5, and remote or hill areas 5–7.
How does my jewellery travel?
By insured courier, covered for its full value until it reaches you. Parcels are plain and unbranded — nothing on the outside says there is jewellery inside. Someone must sign for it; we cannot leave jewellery with a neighbour or at a doorstep.
What if it arrives damaged, or is not what I ordered?
Tell us within 48 hours of delivery and send photographs of the piece and the packaging. We collect it at our cost and either replace it or refund you in full, whichever you prefer.
04. Returns, exchange and buy-back
Can I return a piece?
Most pieces can be returned within 7 days of delivery for a full refund, provided they come back unworn, with the tag still attached and unbroken, and with the original box, certificate and tax invoice. A tag that has been cut off means the piece cannot be returned, so please be sure before you remove it. Pickup is free and insured, and the refund goes back the way you paid within 5 working days of our check.
Is anything excluded from returns?
Made-to-order and customised pieces, engraved items and nose pins cannot be returned. Where that applies it is stated on the product page before you order, not discovered afterwards. You may instead exchange any piece within 15 days against something else from the shop — the gold is valued at the rate on the day of exchange, and you pay or receive the difference.
Do you buy back gold you have sold?
Yes, at any time, at the prevailing rate for its purity on the day, against the original invoice. Making charges and GST are not refundable on a buy-back — they were paid to the craftsmen and to the government, not retained by us. Bring the tax invoice: without it we can still buy the gold, but it is assessed as unidentified metal rather than at its hallmarked purity.
